However there isn’t much out there surrounding trouble shooting of nagios-nsca. I had been having a problem where it would only accept one request before it started failing.
Advanced n-person SCRUM methodology

Is it at all posible to run a n-person SCRUM team with just one person? Whilst sounding particularly counter-intuitive, it is certainly possible, and suprisingly efficient.

Utilizing the popular Visual Studio 2010 RC, single person SCRUM development can be achieved efficiently by utilizing the following Visual Studio extensions.

Coffee

Coffee 2.0

Coffee 3.0

What are these exentions, I hear you ask with tones of disbelief? They are the extensions you find in your kitchen, instanciated by your kettle or espresso machine, and deployed into production with milk, cream and/or sugar, depending on your platform dependencies.

SCRUM methodology usually requires multiple team members to manage the various stages of the scrum sprints (development cycles). By utilizing a time-based planning methodology, namely by defining sprints according to the number of cups of coffee consumed in the day, efficient development can be acheived.

Coffee #1

Product Backlog - planning the additions, changes and bug-fixes for the current day.

Coffee #2 - #[N-1]

Backlog Tasks - Develop, Test, Test again, Rinse, Repeat.

Coffee #[N]

Deploy for UAT, repeat entire process tomorrow.

Is the Panamera a real Porsche? Can a 4 door sedan really boast performance AND comfort?

Didn't they ask this about the Boxster?

Didn't they also ask this about the Cayenne?

Both are without doubt valued members of the Porsche family, although inevitably it was quite a number of years before "purists" accepted the mid-mounted sports car and the volkswagen 4WD SVU. Of course the Boxster and Cayenne are popular models today, and are likely to continue to be so well into the 10's. or Whatever this decade is called.

Most photographs and illustrations really dont do the Panamera any justice - showing it as a squat, stretched Cayman (aka Boxster + Roof). It is not until you sit in the thing, close the door, and take in the ambience of this unknown sensation of SPACE that the Panamera really begins to shine.

With models ranging from a base of 220kW (300 hp) to a blistering 368kW (500 hp) Turbo model with a top speed of 303km/hr, there is no doubt that the Panamera is a true Porsche. Agile (no, not the Scrum type...), dynamic and spacious, Porsche are clearly trying to take on the Mercedes and BMW competition head-on.

4 seats 4 doors 4 inches from the ground

Beauty in Electrons (aka Porsche 918 Spyder)

An exciting new chapter is opening in Porsche Motorsport history, with the launch of the 918 Spyder plug-in hybrid concept car. Launched last month at the Geneva motor show, the Spyder is a mid-engined, two-seater supercar with performance exceeding most F1 cars and efficiency greater than a Toyota Prius!

The exciting stats - 0-100km/h in under 3.2 seconds, top speed 320km/h, emmissions of less than 70g CO2 per km and fuel consumtion of around 3.0L/100km (my boxter averages around 9...)

The 2010 Porsche 918 Spyder combines classic Porsche elements and futuristic design.

More to come in the coming weeks...

Three Things Thursday

I totally forgot to publish this last night... Anyway, here it is. Sorry if it's a little rough.

I figured that there was one more thing missing from the game production tools I'd posted - sound! So, I've tried to find parallel sets of sound design tools. The problem is that I don't know much about sound tools, so I've just put this list together based on tools that I've had a play with. I've used these tools to either generate sounds, record new sounds, or modify existing sounds. I've honestly not played with the third program much at all, and can't say much about it...
<!--break-->
So, here's the list:

You've probably seen the rumors flying all over the internet about Apple's next product launch - the tablet computer, currently dubbed the "iSlate". I don't seem to be able to avoid coming across speculation and excitement over the much yearned iSlate. We've seen a steady progression of Apples products from the iPod to the iPhone, and there is very little reason right now to refute claims that Apple won't continue the trend with a tablet.
